10 Things You Need To Let Go Of To Get Yourself Back On Track
1. Let go of your former self.
Who you were no longer plays into this moment. If you want to turn over a new leaf, do it. Your past can't shackle you.
2. Let go of self hate.
There's no need to berate yourself for past mistakes or present shortcomings. We all have shortcomings. We all have things we want to accomplish that we aren't right now. Don't worry about it, and don't beat yourself up for it.
3. Let go of your regrets.
I know I've made mistakes in the past. Chances are, you have too. But you have to be able to let go of those regrets in order to move on.
4. Let go of negativity.
Certain people, places, things, and even thoughts can create negativity in your life. So rid your life of it. It's not serving you now and it never will.
5. Let go of jealousy.
We sometimes look at the successes of others and feel pangs of jealousy. But jealousy won't get you any closer to where you want to be. Sometimes things are unfair. This simply has to be dealt with. Let go of it.
6. Let go of fear of judgment.
People will judge you all day every day. It's what people do. At the very least, you should give them a reason to judge you as bold, decisive and strong.
7. Let go of toxic relationships.
Friendships, romantic relationships, and professional relationships alike are a hindrance to your growth as an individual. Let go of those relationships. It may be taxing, difficult, and downright scary to do so, but it'll be worth it in the end.
8. Let go of over-thinking.
When you over-think things and spend your time in worry, you're not finding solutions for problems. You're probably just creating more problems. You can over-think yourself right out of happiness. Worrying won't remove tomorrow's troubles. It'll rob you of today's peace.
9. Let go of the belief that you aren't good enough.
Because you are.
