Costa Rica Has Been Running On 100% Renewable Energy For The Entire Year!

According to the Costa Rican Electricity Institute, the country has been running on nothing but renewable energy since December, 2014.

For an area as large as Costa Rice to run on nothing but renewable energy is truly remarkable; however, Costa Rica is a small country.
