The Difference Is How We Respond

5 Things You Should Never Apologize For

You are a powerfully unique and distinct person. The older you get, the more you explore yourself and the world around you, the more you will have to celebrate you.

In this age of political correctness and the ideal of inclusiveness, we are urged to 'slow down', or apologize for our actions, when no one has been hurt or offended.

You have more inalienable rights than those listed in the Constitution or religious texts.

Stand tall and have faith and pride in yourself. Below are actions and traits that you should never apologize for.

Remember that if someone tries to make you feel bad or apologize for these traits they are disrespecting and belittling you.

No one who truly loves you would ever ask you to stand down from who you are.

Putting Yourself First

No one is going to watch over you all the time or constantly protect your interests. You have to put yourself first, if you want to stay happy and capable.

Only a person that has their interests in good order is capable of helping others do the same. You are being selfish, you are ensuring your survival and the fulfillment of your potential.

Saying No

You are the only one that knows what is good for you and your happiness. You have to say no and establish what you want and need.

If it conflicts with the interests of others then that is a shame and depending on the circumstance, a compromise can be reached.

But any expectation to compromise should come with the understanding that you aren't going to do anything that jeopardizes your goals and happiness.

Wanting More

There is a fine line between greed and a healthy desire for more. We are creatures of constant evolution, we change and grow. Our goals are what powers these changes.

Without desire, there would be no progress. If you have many goals and desires, it is only because you have faith in your potential.

Stating Your Opinion

Everyone is entitled to their own unique opinions, and every opinion is valid.

This doesn't mean that everyone is right. It means that you have your individual thoughts and feelings that culminate into an opinion.

You should feel empowered and strong in stating how you feel and what you think. Never apologize for your unique disposition.

Not Giving Into The Expectations Of Others

You are your own person and the opinions and expectations of others should never restrict you from doing what you know is right for you.

Don't let others slow you down, don't let their judgements get you down. Stand tall and have faith in your particular path.
