This doesn’t apply to people who don’t have enough to survive, that is food, shelter, and clean water, but chances are, if you’re looking at this on a smart phone or computer, you live a better life than billions of people worldwide.

You have what you need. You don’t need more. That doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t strive for more, but you don’t need more.

2. Be present in order to be grateful.

You can’t truly be grateful for the people and things in your life if you don’t exist in the present. Your blessings begin with the breaths your taking right now.

The greatest thing you can do is find yourself grateful for this exact moment in life.

3. Gratitude is the highest praise.

To be grateful for people in your life is the greatest gift, the highest praise, that you could possibly give them.

Maybe some people don’t stay in your life forever, and that is okay in a way. You can still be grateful for the fact that your paths crossed at all.
