Fears can be debilitating. They can prevent us from fully living our lives, experiencing things that we want to, and having a good time of it all.

But there are ways we can take our fears and turn them into strengths. How?

1. Meditate on your fears.

I don’t necessarily mean sit in a quiet place with your eyes closed. Meditation comes in a lot of different shapes and sizes. When it comes to conquering my fears, I usually spend time walking through nature.

Not hiking like I have to get to the end of the trail as fast as I can, but more sauntering.

Really feeling the fresh air, seeing and smelling the flowers, observing plants and animals and insects at work. It helps put it all into perspective – including your fears. It helps you let go.
