It's easy to react with strong emotions to things that elicit them, but take a deep breath and try not to overreact, especially with negative emotions. You can permanently damage your relationship.

Complain, but act.

It's totally okay to complain, but if all you ever do is complain, you bring the whole vibe down. Instead of complaining, discuss ways you can take action to make a given situation better.

Don't sweat the little things.

You can sweat YOUR little things, but the small things your partner does that bugs you? Let it go. You can't nitpick them.

When angry, sleep.

If you're really mad about something, hit the sack. If you're still mad in the morning, go ahead and pursue it further.
