1. You love those easy going, free weekends.

The weekend is here! Thank goodness. What are you going to do? Go out with friends? Grab a beer? Drink some tea at home? Read a book? Go to the movies?

Hey, it’s up to you! If you’re happy with the ability to choose your spare time activities, it’s a sign you’re happy being alone.

2. You enjoy doing things on your own.

Not only are you free to do the things you want, you enjoy doing normal life things by yourself. Knitting a sweater, going to the store, hitting the bar, going for a hike – you’re into doing it all. Alone.

3. You have no problem eating alone.

I’ve found eating by myself to be one of the most relaxing things to do. It lets me catch up with my own thoughts and enjoy a savory meal without interruption.

4. You prefer having a beer or cup of coffee alone.

I mean, drinking alone is one of the signs of alcoholism, but it’s only one of them.

If you’re the kind of person who can enjoy having a little bit of beer by yourself, or a cup of coffee or tea, you’re probably happy alone.

5. You can travel solo.

You want to go on vacation but you don’t have anyone to go with. What do you do? If you chose go on vacation, chances are you’re happy alone.

6. Sharing your bed seems so annoying now.

I’ve always been this way when single. I dislike sharing my bed with strangers or even people that I’m comfortable with. Once you do find yourself with someone again, that feeling fades.

7. Time alone in the car is nice.

Much like eating a meal alone, a car ride alone can also be relaxing. If you enjoy the solo car ride, chances are you’re a happy camper alone.

8. You go MIA sometimes.

Your friends might miss you for a week or so but that’s okay. You’re happy alone! You’ll get out for some social time when you’re ready.

9. You see being clingy as an undesirable trait.

Some people are happy with, that, but not you. If you’re happy alone, chances are you won’t be super clingy toward anyone ever again and you’ll find it annoying.
