Mercury Retrograde Is Almost Here. Prepare For An Intense Energy Shift

Mercury Retrograde certainly has one of the most notorious reputations of anything in astrology.

All it is, is when Mercury moves backwards from Earth's perspective, marinating in the energy of wherever it happens to get stuck.

Every planet at some point every year or two years, goes through a retrograde. However, Mercury is the only planet that seems inherently dysfunctional when in retrograde, and that's clearly observable each time.

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Chthonic dwarf planets retrograde every single year, for a predictable and clear period of time, and the retrogrades don't change their inherent feeling or nature very much.

In fact, Jupiter Retrograde is the most highly anticipated annual aspect in all of astrology:

The positive planet gets stuck in the sky, specifically before and at the end of retrograde where it remains fused to one static position, that's where a concentrated beam of euphoric energy goes.

Studying your astrological sign can give you quite a lot of insight into your personality. You won't believe what the science of Numerology can reveal about you as well!

That's right, the numerology of your birth date, regardless of what month you were born, can reveal surprising information about your personality.

If Jupiter Retrograde left the planet stuck in perfect conjunction to your Sun, you'd have a long, extended period of positivity perhaps months longer than the quickest pass Jupiter could make, which could be as little as a week.

The main thing any planetary retrograde does, is make a planet stay stuck in a certain position for a long period of time.

Imagine a metal object being placed into a campfire. It slowly turns red hot as it marinates in the flame, as does a planet marinate in the light rays of that sign, or the angle it makes to another planet.

Completely dependent on the angles and energy it conducts in that position, a retrograde is basically a planet marinating in a certain energy for an extended period of time.

This Mercury Retrograde toward the end of June and throughout July, will be unfortunately a very volatile and emotional one that lasts a particularly long period of time in feeling, because the shadow period in which it begins happens to spark the most volatile aspect in it.

The Mercury Retrograde starts right now, here in the middle of June 2019, with Mercury conjunct Mars in the emotional sign of Cancer, fire and energy (Mars) flowing through the collective mental state (Mercury).

The thing is, Mercury and Mars both oppose Saturn + Pluto throughout this retrograde, the once every 36 year Saturn conjunct Pluto which has been legitimately the source of all the upheaval and darkness that suddenly may have struck all of us about a month and a half ago.

An underlying heavy, serious, purgative and volatile energy present in the air with Saturn conjunct Pluto is set to go off like a nuclear bomb during the week of June 16, 2019, when Mercury moving slowly in its shadow toward retrograde, aligns with Mars, for both to oppose Saturn and Pluto.

This third week of June will be absolutely one to watch out for, to understand the energy will pass and it won't stay like this forever. However, it's the preparation for all of July.

This aspect is where Mercury will slowly retrograde back towards, again reaching a very volatile, explosive, purging, upheaval-prone and serious feeling opposition to Pluto in Capricorn at the end of July.

At the end of July during this time, at the end of retrograde, the "delayed-reaction" type feeling from the eclipse in the middle of July will really start to kick in: you can expect the latter half of this summer to be full of surprises.

What's more, a Full Moon Eclipse (Lunar Eclipse) in the middle of July will precisely, very closely conjoin Saturn and Pluto, right there in Cancer close to Mercury Retrograde, again agitating this point. This will occur on July 16.

As we explained in other recent astrology articles, thankfully this period of Saturn conjunct Pluto lasting between now and the end of 2020, about a year and a half, is a purgative and harsh aspect that makes us eventually end up emotionally cleansed, revived of empathy, and open-hearted, especially due to the eclipses in Cancer, and the positive aspects to our spiritual, once every 160 years, pure Neptune in its own sign of Pisces.

Thankfully, you can rest assured that there's a specific, perfect, perhaps even Godly direction all of this trial and tribulation is leading people toward: the ideals of Cancer, the sign of family, the heart, a love for animals, empathy, compassion, and all that is of the mother.

The most important times to be aware of sudden upheaval (Pluto), or a collective lack of inspiration or slowness in the air that dramatically contrasts yet somewhat intensifies the potential for upheaval (Saturn), are the 3rd week of June right here, the middle of July, and the end of July.

These are the moments where Saturn/Pluto are triggered by Mercury Retrograde, Mars, and the eclipses.
