I am an introvert. This fact about myself wouldn’t bother me in the least if not for the fact that so many people don’t “get” me.

You see, sometimes it’s really difficult to explain why I don’t like doing certain things and why I would rather walk across fire than be in a large crowd.

It’s especially difficult to explain this to someone who is not an introvert.

Introverts love to listen. It gives them a chance to really get to know someone and understand them better.

Words are very important to them and, as such, introverts think before they speak.

They don’t take words lightly and neither should you. Really listening to an introvert is showing them you love them.
