Have you noticed feeling more anxious lately? Maybe even on the days you are happy, you’re just expecting the feeling to soon fade. Maybe you’ve noticed you’ve lost some connections and are always conflicted between going to socialize in the world and wanting to stay in bed, under the covers.

If you do, you’re not alone. It seems like no one is genuinely happy and at peace anymore and we don’t blame them, because our world is ending. Some might say it already has ended and we’re now living in the apocalypse. Allow us to explain what this means for you.

Take a quick zodiac reading here to find out what the universe has to say about you right now.

So Many Dystopian Movies

Have you noticed a surplus of dark movies coming out lately? We’re fascinated by end of the world scenarios and the dark genre of dystopian worlds, time travel and apocalypse is a growing one.

Where does the interest come from? Maybe it’s therapeutic because it’s become relatable or more maybe it’s we’re mentally preparing because it’s easier to deal with it through the eyes of fictional characters than believe it could really happen to us. There’s no denying our world has changed in recent times.

Daily Mini Apocalypses

Our fears about the future and increasing concerns over bringing children into this world are valid. After all, all it takes is turning on the news to see that we live in a world where millions of small “micro” apocalypses take place every single day.

From pandemic to record high prices of gas and homes, it seems like we’re just setting ourselves up to crash. The question, is how hard will we fall? And is there anything we can do about it?

If Only We Knew The Exact Moment

Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew the exact moment that the world would really end? Imagine hearing on the radio that tomorrow by sunset our existence would cease. Now ask yourself, how does that make you feel? Most people would say that they feel overwhelmed and even scared.

But a grand majority would all of a sudden feel awake and motivated to quickly want to do everything they’ve put off that they have wanted to. Their senses would sharpen and their priorities and values would suddenly come into focus. Maybe they’d even hug their loved ones tighter. Even if they know they have no control over the outcome, they would change the way they live their last moments.

But why do we have to wait to know the exact time it all ends to live the way we actually want to live?

The Freedom Of Saying Goodbye

We tend to think of goodbyes as painful separation. The post-pandemic world isn’t always a pretty one. After seeing so much illness and spending so much time stuck in a small place with someone you thought you were fond of, you can still hear the whimpers in hospitals and find tears over the recently signed divorce papers.

But consider it an awakening to the things that really matter. Because now we are reminded more than ever that there is no escaping death and tragedy, all we have is our own world that we create to serve our highest selves.

So why don’t we make the decision to say goodbye? Say goodbye to the world as you know it. The world you were used to is over… But in that there’s freedom. You are no longer tied to your past and the baggage that weighs you down. You have a blank slate.

The Cycle Of Life

In simple terms, we’re born, we live, then we die and we’re powerless to those events. But that’s not entirely true. There is a difference between living the same day on repeat and actually living every day to the fullest. One makes you alive and the other only means you exist.

Each stage of our life is an opportunity. After all, our bodies are always growing, so why shouldn’t our minds and souls too? Between the ages of 6 and 11, our faces grow out of our skulls. By age 9, our hearts have grown six times their birth weight. In puberty, we take the shape of our adult selves. We are constantly growing.

What Stays Behind

In our late thirties, our bone mass decreases for the first time by about 1%. The next year decreases around 2% in mass and the next 3%. Your body knows that the world is ending, and it’s adapting, so why shouldn’t you? It’s the choices and the decisions that you make now and every single moment from now that determine your fate, no matter what you believe in.

The Old Testament sayst: “For you are dust, and to dust, you shall return.” Re-incarnation also believes that you will return back to this world, in a different form. Your life isn’t meant to be wasted. It’s all connected. Every choice you make.

Legacy Through Memory

What is life if not a series of memories? When you’re truly on your death bed, what moments are going to stand out most? Let us tell you right now, it’s not going to be the long nights you spent in the office hoping for a promotion but the look on your child’s face when you finally come home.

Memories, just like our lives, are fading. To put into perspective a summary of a scientific study found that: “Given a list of 24 words, an average 20-year-old remembers 14 of the words, a 40-year-old remembers 11, a 60-year-old remembers 9, and a 70-year-old remembers 7.”

A Wake Up Call

The goal of what you’re reading isn’t to make you feel helpless about endings but to treat your life as a constant beginning, and to use every moment as a chance for change. According to the law of physics, energy can’t be created or destroyed, which means that the only energy that we can register is the one in the moment.

We are in control of creating our own reality and of releasing the energy that serves us best. What do you want your life to look like? Visualize it, then come up with the steps to create it.

In A World That’s Ending…You’re In Control

You read that right, even when everything is falling apart around you, you’re the one in control. You can’t control the actions of others or the external tragedies, but you decide your reaction. What you do about it is up to you. Are you going to live knowing that the end will eventually come for you as helpless and hopeless, or are you going to live every day to the fullest because it could be your last?

Once you make the decision to treat every day like the world is ending and embrace that as the best thing that could happen, you stop just living, and you start actually feeling alive.
