She Is Most Known For Her Beauty, But Once Told Would Never Be More Than A Secretary, Let Her Be A Lesson

It's the people who put on the bigest smiles that are often hiding the biggest secrets. They smile through the pain and continue to suffer in silence. The case is no different for the world's biggest beauty icon.

From the beginning of her life to the end, Marilyn Monroe lived a heartbreaking life. Yet, her climb to sucess shows that you can come from nothing, even be unwanted by your parents, only end up being desired by the whole world. Here is her targic yet inspiring story.

A Childhood Of Loneliness

Marilyn was born to a father and two half siblings she didn't even know about till she was 12 years old. Her mother was already separated when she was born and didn't have the mental or financial capacity to raise her by herself. She was actually diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.

Instead, Marilyn was passed around between orphanages, foster family, family members, and friends of her mothers. This made her become very shy and anxious.

When she was 17 years old, Marilyn was staying with a couple who was friends with her mother. However, due to their job they had to be relocated. Because Marilyn was still a minor, California's state law wouldn't allow her to go with them.

The only solution she could think of was to marry her 21-year-old neighbor and friend, James Dougherty. James wasn't very supportive of Marilyn having a career in show business. As soon as she signed her first modeling contract, he also left her.

Marlyn wasn't finding success at first, and the assistant director of fox century news even told her she would never be anything more than a secretary. But Marilyn was motivated to focus on her career instead of her relationships so she could support herself and turn her life around. She felt especially grateful for her agent and mentor Johnny Hyde, who got her a seven-year contract in the business. Just as things were looking up, he died of a heart attack.

Marilyn didn't know how to cope. She needed someone to support her through her anxiety and stage fright. With no one there to support her, Marilyn turned to substances and drinking. This was the only way she could think to cover up her low self-esteem and perfectionism, but it gave her a reputation as a difficult actress.

She suffered Silently

Monroe was not only dealing with mental health issues but she was also physically sick. Her studio heads knew that she hada case of sinusitis and needed bed rest and medical attention, but they would instead spread rumors that she was "faking it" so that they wouldn't go over budget.

They even went as far as firing her while she was sick and suing her for $750,000 in damages.

She Was Reduced To Nothing More Than An Object

Marilyn found herself quickly reduced to nothing more than a beauty icon but she was determined to break out of it and be noticed for her talents. She would have long battles with her production company over the movies she was in and even tried to start her own company, Marilyn Monroe Productions.

But, the press made fun of her efforts. Marilyn had dreams of being a successful woman and a mother and had much more to give beyond her beauty. Sadly, because of her lifelong battle with endometriosis, she suffered at least four miscarriages.

She Was Even Kept Against Her Will

Marlyn has been prescribed all sorts of painkillers and sedatives for her many physical and mental illnesses. People close to her said her bedside table was covered in prescription bottles. Because of her many social events, she was also drinking a lot of champagne. Add in her fourth divorce and veentually she broke.

Marlyn finally admitted herself into the Payne Whitney psychiatric ward in New York, thinking they would help her with her insomnia and let her rest. Instead, they locked her in a padded room and wouldn't let her leave until her ex, Joe DiMaggio, broke her out.

We Don't Actually Know How Her Story Ends

Marilyn Monroe was found dead by her housekeeper on August 5, 1962. The reports say it was an overdose, probably on purpose.

But, not everyone agrees. Some say she was killed by the president, the mafia, the FBI, or even her exes or the psyhitriast. The witnesses contradict each other so no one really knows. It turns out that no amount of fame, success, beauty, or wealth could save Marilyn after all.

Logan's hardships started from the day he was born. For whatever reason, his parents didn't feel fit to raise him, so he was put up for adoption when he was just a toddler. Not all kids get lucky and get adopted when they get put in the system.

Unfortunately for Logan, no family wanted to keep him and he was sent from one foster home to the next until he reached the age of 18. Considered an adult, he aged out of the system and had no choice but to become homeless. All he had ever wanted was a family but instead, he grew up his whole life feeling alone.

A Social Worker Who Cared

Fortunately, all it takes to make a difference in someone's life is finding one person who cares. For Logan, it was his social worker. Once his 11 years in the foster care system were up, Logan's caseworker was determined to find him a good place to live. So far, all his living arrangements had been temporary, and he had never had a place to call home. For a time, Logan even lived in his car.

Looking carefully through his files, they discovered that Logan actually had a biological sister named Shyann who was already living with a good family. The caseworker hoped and prayed that the family would also take an interest in Logan, so she called up Shyan's adoptive mother.

Logan Was Deemed To Be "Toxic"

The caseworker was hoping Robert and Ara Hunt, Shyanna's parents would welcome Logan but that wasn't the case. The family already had 3 adopted children and they were afraid that Logan would disrupt the dynamic that they had created for their family.

Logan's sister was 12 years old at the time and the family was afraid that her biological homeless brother, who was living in a car, would be toxic to their family. In an interview, tey explained: : “We wanted nothing to do with him. We didn’t know anything about him. We were afraid.”

A Television Segment That Reflected The Truth

You wouldn't think that television is where you'd find the truth and have your whole perspective changed but that was the case for Logan.

The Hunt family saw a local television segment about Logan's journey out of foster cre and it completely changed their mind on the young man. That piece changed the father Robert Hunt’s mind about the 18-year-old. The father said in an interview: “I was just knocked down. I think I’m a pretty good judge of character, and I saw the good character in him."

Up until then, Logan had known nothing but rejection. He told USA Today how the constant rejection that his life made him feel “empty” and “alone," and he felt as though he had “nothing to look forward to.”

Right when Logan thought his life couldn't get worse, he got into a car accident. Yet, he had no idea that this tragedy would turn into a blessing too. Ara went to go visit him in the hospital, and she ended up bringing him home with her. He had no idea another miracle would be waiting for him at her home.

Happily More After

Logan went back to meet his sister and her newfound family thinking the reunion itself would be his miracle while he recovered from the accident. He believed his stay with the family would be temporary just like all his past ones.

As he bonded with the family, Logan fit right in. It didn't take long before the Hunt family performed a second miracle and decided to start the process of adopting Logan! It was finally Logan's chance to reach the light of the end of the tunnel and become part of a family just like he always wanted.

New Beginnings

Logan's life at almost 20 years old was just starting. After 13 years of temporary living arrangements, he finally found his forever home. It turns out that hope and patience were all he needed and the universe had a plan for him all along.
