As the world slowly pours out of August and into September, expect there to be yet another major astronomical shift on Thursday the first of the month.
Although some of us will not be able to view the spectacle of the lunar eclipse that is planned to set in Virgo, the effects of this phenomena should resonate within all of us as the earth, moon, and sun align themselves to create one of the most amazing rare occurrences that we do not get to view very often.
The new moon will slowly place itself in front of earth and block the light that the sun shines down upon us.
However, it is important to note that this moon in particular will not be totally eclipsing for the fact that it is a annular and not total.
So, instead of the moon completely covering up the entirety of the sun, you will be witnessing a ring-like glow in the sky since the moons diameter is much smaller compared to the sun’s.
Regardless of some of us not being able to view the moon entirely as much as we would like, it is important that we prepare ourselves for this amazing astronomical phenomena so that we make sure we begin this next major shift the right way. There are a lot of ways to get ready!
