It’s hard to break up with your friends. Sometimes it’s needed though.

There are 5 big warning signs you should watch out for. They indicate you’re not in good company.

You want to hang out with them but they don’t ever make time for you unless it works for them, like nothing better is going on or you’re currently with someone who they find interesting enough to be around.

2. They hold the past against you.

Past mistakes or problems you had constantly come bubbling up to the surface.

Your self-improvement doesn’t come with congratulations, but rather constant reminders of the person you were and the mistakes you’ve made.

Time to move on.

3. You feel trapped with them.

When you think about your circle of friends, you feel like you’re trapped. You want to hang out with them but you also wish you had different kinds of people to be around.

If you’re feeling trapped, it’s a sure sign present company isn’t good company.

4. They don’t think you’ll amount to anything.

They often discredit your dreams and don’t think you can make anything of yourself. Your goals seem silly to them and they don’t hesitate to tell you.

5. You’re more negative than usual.

Their negativity will begin to rub off on you after a while and you’ll find yourself acting in a very particular, negative way when you’re with them and after.
