Meet The Street Barber… also know as Nasir Sobhani. When he’s not at work cutting people’s hair, he’s out cutting homeless people’s hair for free. He see it as his way of giving back to the community not that he is “sober and healthy again.”
Nas is now 26 years old, and the main subject of a PLGRM documentary about recovering drug addicts.
Nas grew up in Japan, and has spent time living in several different countries. He’s attended a University in Canada and done youth work in the Vanuatu jungles. Eventually he moved to Australia to begin his career of helping the homeless.
You can follow Nasir on Instagram here, and see more of PLGRM’s work here.
