This year, the average home size of a new home is about 2,450 square feet. That’s enormous when you consider that in 1984, the average home size was only 1,700 square feet.
Houses have gotten huge over the decades, and so have our mortgages and utility bills. But more and more, people are striking back with awesome tiny home ideas.
This is easily one of my favorites. This 40 square meter truck house, aka “castle truck,” features a bathtub, refrigerator, and a bathroom with a full shower. Solar panels provide the power. The home is made completely from recycled materials.
