3 Types Of People We All Need In Our Lives
1. The counterweight.
It’s important for the people in your life to believe in you. It’s truly a must! They can’t believe that you will fail because it’s what they want to believe.
That said, you need to keep counterweights in your life.
People who will question you, who will doubt your plans, who will question your motives. The counterweight is an important person in your life because they keep you true to yourself.
2. The soul mates.
Some Buddhists believe that when we die, our souls shatter into countless pieces, and when a new soul is formed, it’s formed out of many different pieces of soul.
When you meet someone who has some of your old soul and you have some of their old soul, there’s an immediate connection. Those people are your soul mates.
Your soul mates have your back, right or wrong. Your soul mates are just as important as your counterweights. They’re the ones who support you through thick and thin.
3. The mentor.
Your mentor can manifest in many different ways.
They can be a soul mate or a counter weight, or maybe a teacher, coach, or member of your church. You may look up to them for their wisdom.
They can be younger or older than you. The universe sends them when they’re needed, and they won’t move on until you’ve learned something.
It’s important to let these people in. Listen to what they have to say. Be ready and willing to learn.
