There are certain moments in our lives where we believe that everything that is happening to us is aimed specifically to hurt us. Even with the constant onslaught of adversity and just living in general, there are some certain things that we must remind ourselves in order to remember that everything isn’t as bad as it seems.

The little things matter when it comes to living, we are way too often distracted by despair to actually remember all the good things that have happened to us so far as well as the good things that we still have in our lives.

The next time you are feeling down, try to remind yourself of these seven things.

Are you still searching for your life purpose? You won’t believe what the science of Numerology can reveal about you!

That’s right, the numerology of your birth date, regardless of what month you were born, can reveal surprising information about your personality.

1. Access To Clean Drinkable Water

According to a report that the UN published, over 783 million people in the world do not have the luxury of clean drinkable water as well as showing that approximately 2.5 billion others do not even have substantial sanitation for their everyday needs.

If you are a person who lives with clean water at all times, you are extremely fortunate compared to a lot of others in the world.

2. Have Clothes To Call Your Own

There is a certain privilege that should be addressed when it comes to the clothes on your back. You are lucky that you were even able to afford any of the expensive items that you let cling to your body.

Others have to resort to hand-me-downs, thrift stores, and even free-boxes located in smaller areas. Not everyone has the luxury of affording nice clothes to wear or any kind of clothes for that matter.

3. Very Much Loved By Friends/Family

One of the biggest things that you should remind yourself when you are feeling down is that people love you. Your friends, your family, and anyone else that you’ve made a huge impact on are all rooting for you.

If you are ever feeling the need for some kind of support you can always turn to your loved ones. However, it’s also important to keep in mind that not everyone has these kinds of relationships. It is very much a privilege to love and be loved in return.

4. Have Your Freedom

Another big reminder to give yourself is your freedom. You are free do whatever you want to do however you want to do it.

You are able to become the change that you desire to see in the world as well as being free to do absolutely nothing at all. It is quite the privilege to be free in this world when so many of us are stuck in more ways than one.

5. Have Goals

Just by having goals or dreams you are already on your way to greater things in this world. Stop at nothing to achieve that success in your image, make everyday an attempt at reaching those great heights, and never stop believing in yourself.

It’s always good to remind yourself what it is that you are fighting for. There are so many that have given up hope and have turned to alternative ways of coping with their failures. Learn from your own failure and turn it into something amazing.

6. Have A Place To Call Home

Having a roof over your head is already something that you should remind yourself to be grateful for. So many others have to live their lives on the streets and other places just so that they can maintain some of their happiness.

Remember that not everyone has the luxury of a place to call their own as well as roof to shelter them from the elements. A huge majority of them don’t even have beds to sleep on or a pillow to rest their head on.

7. You Are Alive And Well

If all else fails to lift your spirits, then a very important reminder to give yourself is that you are alive, healthy, and still breathing.

Just think of all the others in the world who are suffering from various kinds of ailments, illnesses, damage, etc. compared to your own life, do you think you have anything to be sad about that involves your own health?

Appreciate life for what it is and that you are still able to go to your favorite places, be with your favorite people, and do all your favorite things.

All of these little things add up to be some of the most necessary reminders that we need to give ourselves. Sure, times seem tough right now, but all of these other little things are still keeping you going and going regardless of whatever adversity is happening to you right now.
