My Personality Confuses People

Strong or “intimidating” personality types have a specific view about the world. Oftentimes, the hardship or obstacles that one has had to overcome has shaped their personality and character.

Sometimes they come off as rude or crass, but really it’s just their independent ideology and mindset that rubs people the wrong way from time to time.

Many of us do not figure out exactly how strong we are until we’re in a situation that leaves us with no other choice but to be strong.

A strong, or “intimidating” personality type, can mean something different for everyone. But there are a few traits and characteristics that seem to be inherent in all of them.

Here are five ways to tell if you have an intimidating personality:

You get bored with mundane conversation

Intellectual conversation can be hard to come by, but strong personality types prefer it to the mundane banter that most people turn to in social settings. They welcome people who are intellectually curious, wishing to discuss anything worthwhile.

The intimidating part of this is that these people aren’t afraid to tell you that. Especially when it comes to getting work done; they simply don’t have the time for anything but actual substance.

You can’t stand ignorant behaviors and attitudes

While this is somewhat of a generalization, most strong-willed people are very educated, whether it be from a recognized institution or simply through years of research that they’ve conducted on their own.

They’ve put in the time and effort to learn and understand as much of the world as possible, something that requires an open mind. So, when are willfully ignorant, artificial or judgmental, strong personality types will not tolerate it.

You create opportunity where there is none

“It seems that the harder I work, the luckier I get.”

This quote describes the ability of a strong personality type to create opportunity for themselves without the help of others. Their dedicated work ethic creates opportunity, and their courage motivates them to take advantage of it.

And they’re not about to feel sorry for anyone who is offended by their ability to succeed.

You’re largely uninterested in attention from others

While characteristics of strong and intimidating personality types often invite attention (be it positive or negative), they really don’t care for it.

Furthermore, they’re not about to go out of their way to seek it out either. They prefer to focus on their work, making sure that whatever needs to get done gets done, and that it’s done well.

You’re uninterested in excuses

Because strong personality types have such a determined work ethic, they know all too well that things sometimes don’t go as planned. But do they make excuses?

No. They analyze the obstacle before them, figure out a way to get around it, and push forward with their work.

Which is why they have absolutely zero time for anyone who’s keen on complaining or whining without legitimate reason to do so.

Do you want to stress less, sleep better, and feel abundantly happier… without drugs or anything crazy?
