Optical tests are a way to tap into your subconscious mind and understand the makings of your being. We’re all on our own unique path that exposes us to a unique set of experiences and creates our identity. Every decision we make influences our next and becomes a puzzle piece in the big picture of our lives.

That’s why it’s important for us to understand why we think the way we do and what we make our decisions based on, by being mindful of how we interpret the world. What you see first in this image could be the first step in revealing how you interpret the world and what that means for you life.

They say that the eye is the window to the soul. And while our eyes speak for themselves and hold the memories of everything we have seen and experienced up to this moment, they also have a lot of power in shaping our interpretation of the world.

How we perceive the world around us influences who we are, and how we behave. Our inner self is made of an accumulation of perceptions of who we think we should be and who we actually want to be. This then also impacts how we view others and expect them to be, and by extension how we view the world at large.

The Power Of Perception And Meaning

To be able to make sense of these perceptions, its often helpful to look at something we’ve never seen before and find out how it speaks to us. What we see first often reveals the truth about how we think, especially on a subconscious level. Don’t spend time thinking too much or get caught up trying to find all of the symbols because the point is in exploring what catches your mind first.

Are you the kind of person that sees the cup half-full or half-empty? Are you able to think analytically or do you rely on feelings? Do you think of others before yourself? These are the kinds of questions we are trying to answer together by studying our perceptive abilities and tendencies. So once again, we ask you “what did you see first?”

You are an intuitive and artistic person. This gives you a third eye that helps you see what others can’t and develops your observational skills. It’s for that reason that you’re able to easily read others, and offer them support. You’re empathetic to a fault, and often you take on everyone’s baggage over your own. Unfortunately, you make decisions while factoring in everyone else and sometimes you regret the choice you made and wish you had only done what you thought was best.

When you’re able to stay clear of the noise and only focus on yourself, you’re able to tap into your deepest layers. You have such a natural ability to make a difference in the world around you but to help others you need plenty of time to take care of yourself and prioritize what you think is right because your strong intuition will never lead you astray.

Just like birds you have strong connections and your own flock. You have a good support system that gives your perception hope and positivity. You appreciate freedom and don’t like feeling stuck in one place or routine.

The Butterfly

Just like with the Butterfly effect you have a strong influence on the world around you. You’re quick on your feet and don’t take too long to make decisions. You’re often the one others come to because you’re strong stance and natural leadership abilities make them crave your guidance and trust your wisdom.

You have strong views on life and are driven by the motivation to go after what you want. You know exactly where you want to be so it’s not easy for you to be flexible in getting there. Sometimes, others see you as difficult or impatient but in reality, you’re just focused and don’t want to be impacted to deal with the perspectives and opinions of others.

In your eyes, the world is yours if you make it. You understand the value of hard work and dedication and you’re not easily influenced by others despite having an influence on them.

You believe that the world always has something to teach you. You pay a lot of attention to detail and have strong analytical skills. That makes you quite an organized person who loves routine and structure. However, despite wanting to live according to a system, you make your own rules. You understand that society has a limiting structure so you prefer to build one for yourself, rooted in your own foundation of morals and rationalizations.

You don’t believe in anyone but yourself because you would rather rely on yourself than be disappointed when others fall through. Sometimes this can be overwhelming as the task list feels like it’s never-ending. You worry about making mistakes because of your perfectionist nature but when it happens, you take it as a lesson to not make it again.

You see the world as a survival game and want to do your best to make the best of it by taking as much control as you can over what you can.

A Skull

Your superpower is your communication skills. You have a special way with words and are able to beautiful express what you want to say as well as eloquently help others to the same. For that reason, others often turn to you as a mediator. You have an ability to think clearly and find the right thing to say even when you’re overwhelmed by emotion in the heat of the moment. You’re witty and quick on your feet.

Your big heart and warm nature give you a natural ability to reach others and speak to them in a way that they would understand. However, you’re often so focused on how others think, feel and interpret what you have to say that you don’t always take the time to feel out what it is that your message really is.

To you, what’s most important in the world is your connection with others as it is people, not things, that create your best memories and make life fulfilling.

Seeing More Than One At Once

What’s beautiful about our perception of the world is that it’s ever-changing. When we’re in a good mood, we see the best in things. This keeps us on a high vibrational level that stands strong, has better-coping mechanisms and results in a clearer more rested mind and body. The same way when we’re in a bad mood, every little thing feels bigger because it’s just adding on to our stress and we get wrapped up in a negative cycle that keeps us trapped in that negativity.

What you saw first in this image this time, might be very different from the next time based on your emotional state and how you’re seeing the world at that moment. Just remember that you’re not helpless to your perceptions. You can choose to actively see the good if you really want to, and increase your vibrational level to align with more good.

Interpretation Is Not Fixed

Your perception is developed over time as an accumulation of your experiences. But, when you’ve had a series of bad experiences, your perception of the world can become slightly distorted and you might start picking up on the negatives more often than the positives. You might withdraw and dissociate from the world a bit to protect yourself from its risk of hurting you.

However, the more you know yourself, the more power you have over what you see and how to react to it. You won’t believe what the science of Numerology can reveal about you. The numerology of your birth date, regardless of what month you were born, can reveal surprising information about your personality.
